Physician Assistants

Our neurosurgeons and staff put their full trust in our dedicated group of physician assistants as they have experience assisting in thousands of neurosurgical procedures. Along with our neurosurgeons, they will help care for you throughout your entire treatment.

Igor Yalovetskiy, PA-C

Igor Yalovetskiy, PA-C received his undergraduate degree from the Benedictine University. He then earned a masters degree in medical science and graduate degree as a Phycian Assistant from Midwestern University. He has researched and published papers on Treatment of Septic Shock Syndrome. Igor has assisted on over 4000 neurosurgical procedures. He is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukranian.

James Baker, PA-C

James Baker, PA-C started his career serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. He served over 14 years of active duty. He completed his undergraduate courses at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL. He attended Malcom X College/Cook County Hospital's Physician Assistant program, graduating in 2003. He has over 4 years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant in Orthopedics and Spinal surgery. He was the class of 2003's recipient of the Gertrude Novak "Cor" award.
